THE Cebu Provincial Government will give P2 million to the Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) for its Mandaue Business Month (MBM) celebration this year. “This year’s celebration is more ambitious and more relevant as it encompasses the concerns and programs of other provinces through the Visayas Area Business Conference (VABC), which will be held in Mandaue City,” said Girlie Garces, MBM Advising Board member.

Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Mandaue Business Month Commitee Heads launched a presscon today at the Ballroom 1 of Cebu City Sports Club in preparation for the celebration of Mandaue Business Month 2008 and the 17th Visayas Area Business Conference to be held at the Cebu International Convention Center starting August 8.  The event was attended  Hon. Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia, Mandaue City Mayor, Hon. Jonas Cortes, sponsors, event owners and  group of media from radio, tv, and print.
