Cebu Daily News: Mandaue bizmen launch 'grand’ expo

The Mandaue Chamber of the Commerce and Industry (MCCI) on Tuesday launched what it said would be the "grandest" exposition of business enterprises in Mandaue City in August.
The P10-million budget for the Mandaue Business Month (MBM) 2008 celebration was boosted with a P2 million pledge by Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia.
The Mandaue City government led by Mayor Jonas Cortes also pledged P1 million for the activity.
"Part of the P2 million will be spent on the booths of different local government units, the small and medium enterprise in the towns and cities of Cebu, as well as in-house seminars for these small businessmen,” said Eric Mendoza, MCCI president. Continue reading
