Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Mandaue Business Month Commitee Heads launched a presscon today at the Ballroom 1 of Cebu City Sports Club in preparation for the celebration of Mandaue Business Month 2008 and the 17th Visayas Area Business Conference to be held at the Cebu International Convention Center starting August 8.  The event was attended  Hon. Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia, Mandaue City Mayor, Hon. Jonas Cortes, sponsors, event owners and  group of media from radio, tv, and print.
 
Mandaue City is one of the key cities in the province of Cebu that has a large number of infrastructures and establishments that really help and bring boost to the economy not only in Cebu but in the country as well.
 
Honorable Mayor Jonas Cortes on his speech, promises to have his full support on the said celebration.
 
That in response, Governor Gwendolyn Garcia also announces her financial support on this event to help promote the province of Cebu and particularly the Mandauehanons.
 
This year's event is focused on tourism, entrepreneurship, IT, and bringing more jobs in Cebu more specifically to the people of Mandaue. MCCI prepared lots of event that is open for everyone.  Let's promote Cebu, promote Mandaue!
 
This year's MBM 2008 is spearheaded by Wilson Ng and the dynamic President of MCCI Mr. Eric Mendoza.
