Taken at the Pueblo Real of Argao Cebu, the church in Argao also known as The Church of San Miguel Arcangel, is the second to oldest church in the country.
Founded on May 17, 1734 by Fr. Ignacio de Olave, the church is strikingly similar to that of the church of Dalaguete. The Argao church exemplifies the tendency to introduce rococo elements in blending with Baroque. To date, a good number of artifacts have remained in the church. There are more than 20 angels on its brass-studded portals, it being dedicated to St. Michael the Archangel.
